Special Report: 2008 Beijing Olympics
The competition is near the finish, as artists and illustrators vie for the right to have their designs chosen as mascots and posters for the 2007 Shanghai World Special Olympics. An exhibition of submissions opened to the public in Shanghai Wednesday. It's an opportunity for visitors to enjoy all the designs up-close. It's meant to inspire more public awareness and support for the games in October.
There are 58 entries. They are candidates for games mascots and for promotional posters. Most are being seen by the public for the first time.
