Brazil stunned arch-rivals Argentina to win their eighth Copa America trophy on Sunday. The result is sweet vindication for new coach Dunga, who had been slammed for his style of play and sporting a side short of most of the team's stars.

Brazil had been the target of bitter criticism from home fans for not playing with much creativity and passion.

But that disappeared just four minutes into the final. Julio Baptista put his team in the lead by firing a fierce right-foot drive into the top corner of the net to make it 1-0.
