He hasn't set a new world record, but China's Liu Xiang has won the 110-meter hurdles in Lausanne. He has set the season's third-best time despite unseasonably cold temperatures at the Athletissima Grand Prix.
It didn't look likely that Liu Xiang could break the world record he set in Lausanne last year, but he did manage to bounce back from his defeat by Dayron Robles in Paris last Friday. He held off a late challenge from America's Anwar Moore and won the 110 meter hurdles in 13.01 seconds.
