CBA League leaders Guangdong have claimed a victory over hosts Shandong by dominating the court on Wednesday. In a another match, Fujian have played a tightly fought home game against Liaoning.

Guangdong beat Shandong 102-91

Visitors Guangdong made a flying start to build up their absolute dominance against Shandong. The three-time defending champions proved too strong for the hosts, leading by 20 points at half time.

Shandong never got a chance to fight back after the break, and Guangdong cruised to their seventh victory in a row.

Fujian edge out Liaoning 97-91

In one Wednesday's other encounters, Fujian hosted Liaoning. It was a tightly fought battle throughout, with Fujian leading by only one point at the break.

Liaoning struggled to fight back in the second half, but Fujian controlled the game to the end for their second straight victory.

Other games of the day saw powerhouses Bayi continuing their winning streak. Other winners included Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang Guangsha.

Turning to the standings, Guangdong stay on top after its easy win, Bayi lie in second, and Jiangsu settle for third place with one game in hand. Shangdong and Shanghai share sixth place.
