In the second quarter Chen Lei and Jiao Jian scored two three-pointers, while Zhejiang gained nothing in five minutes. At the end of the first half, Beijing made a turnaround with 46-37. In the third quarter Zhejiang started to catch up and maintained their advantage. Finally they upset Beijing 94-85.

Dongguan edge Jilin 131-122

In another major clash of the day, Dongguan played host to Jilin.

A victory was on everyone's mind, as both teams have hopes of reaching the playoffs. But it was the hosts Dongguan who led the first period.

Jilin responded with fine baskets to narrow the gap to a single point at half time.

Dongguan managed to expand the lead to double-digits in the third quarter, but Jilin's late charges put the two sides almost on an equal footing again.

Eventually the hosts held on to win the match 131-122 and avoided losing their third game in a row.
