Special Report: Iran presidential election 09 |
Iranian opposition leader Mirhossein Mousavi is urging his supporters to continue their protests.
He's also issued an oblique appeal to security forces to show restraint.
The move is likely to be viewed with deep suspicion by the leadership, which has pledged to use force wherever necessary to quell opposition.
Iran state television says 10 people were killed and more than 100 were injured in protests in Tehran on Saturday. But another report put the number of dead at 13.
