Taiwan health authorities have reported the 10th confirmed A/H1N1 case on the island. The patient is a 26-year-old man.

Authorities say the patient had travelled for about 9 days in Guizhou Province before returning to Taiwan last Saturday via Hong Kong. He had a fever and exhibited other flu-like symptoms on Monday and went to hospital. Medical experts there diagnosed him as A/H1N1 positive.

Authorities say they have obtained the name list of the 17 travellers in the same tour group with the patient. They also have the names of 30 others who had close contact with him after returning to Taiwan. But none of them have been found to have contracted the virus.
