The University of Toronto's Chinese Students Union is handing out leaflets on flu preventative measures.

It calls for students to wash their hands, and keep parties to a minimum. Phone numbers for medical services are provided. The campaign is reaching other universities via the Internet and Chinese-language broadcasts. The leaflet also has advice for students who plan to return to China for summer vacation.

Shen Daming, student of University of Toronto, said, "The preventative information are circulating among students unions. The flu might spread between students. So all students returning home should abide by the rules, to stay at home for 7 days, and to check whether they've already been infected."
