A controller of the Center for Health Protection in Hong Kong, has revealed more details of the region's third confirmed case of A/H1N1 Influenza.

Thomas Tsang, controller of Center For Health Protection, said, "The man was wearing face mask on the plane throughout the journey and he developed fever during the flight. The port health medical workers examined the infected man and then arranged an ambulance to send him to the Infectious Disease department of Princess Margaret Hospital."

After the latest infection, Hong Kong is pledging to maintain tight control at border points. Health officials are also appealing to Hong Kong students in North America not to board flights and receive treatment at local hospitals if they show any flu symptoms.

Hong Kong confirmed its second case of A/H1N1 involving a 24-year-old man on a flight from San Francisco to Hong Kong. The region reported its first confirmed case, which involved a Mexican man, at the beginning of this month.
