Special Report: World tackles A/H1N1 flu |

23 people on board the same Cathay Pacific flight have been put under quarantine in Hong Kong after a passenger was found to have the A/H1N1 virus.

The infected man is a 23-year-old student who had been studying in the US and is the third confirmed case for the region. He arrived in the Special Administrative Region late Saturday evening aboard flight CX 831. The man was taken to hospital directly from the airport after a thermal scan showed he was suffering from a fever. Local health officials are urging passengers traveling on the same flight and within three rows of the patient to contact the Center for Health Protection. The man was seated in the 60th row.
