Tibet, Reaching the Sky

In these days of mass communication and international air travel, there are few places in the world that we can describe as mysterious. But still there is Tibet – the Roof of the World – whose inaccessibility has played a large part in earning its reputation for mystery. Tibet boasts stunning scenery of azure skies, brightly-colored prayer flags. It’s a landscape that few people have ever seen at first hand; and yet it still exerts a powerful hold on the imagination of the world.
