Swedish singer-songwriter Jose Gonzalez has made his China debut. The Grammy winner proved his popularity again at a packed bar in downtown Beijing.

Gonzalez's China tour started in Beijing on Tuesday night, with his trademark style. Solo classical guitar with soft and soul-touching vocals. Gonzalez was born to Argentine parents in a small town in Sweden. In 2003, he released his first album, Veneer, in Europe.

In 2004, he won the Grammy for Best New Artist. And in 2006, it was the European Border Breaker Award. Gonzalez performs in Shanghai on Wednesday night and then will head to Hong Kong.
