Through diverse media that include photographs and video footage, the show presents an all-round summary of what the ambitious cultural project has achieved. Starting last July, the Journey of Chinese Culture travelled through nearly all the old towns along the Grand Canal. The huge waterway connected China's north and south for more than a thousand years. The participants conducted field research on the 40-plus intangible heritages and 10 relic sites.

The show also features the demonstrations of time-honored folk arts and crafts, such as new year pictures, paper cuts, and clay sculptures.
