The Palace Museum in Beijing and the Palace Museum in Taipei have joined hands for cultural exchanges. Recently, the curators of the museum met in Beijing discussing the details.

The curators agreed that both sides will meet for a cultural seminar on an annual basis. They say they will do their best to provide audio and video materials for publications associated with research at the museum. Also, a scholar exchange program will kick off next year.
Zhou Gongxin, the curator of Palace Museum in Taipei said, "We'll have more discussions about our future cooperation. Also we hope long term regular exchange programmes will be established."

The curator of the Palace Museum in Taipei and her entourage went to Shanghai Tuesday. They toured the 2010 Shanghai International Expo area the Shanghai Museum.
Chen Xiejun, the curator of Shanghai Museum said, "We are anticipating the exchange programmes of both sides. I think we should create opportunities to stimulate the exchanges."
The team from the Palace Museum in Taipei will also visit the Yuyuan Garden, Xin Tian Di Complex, and the global financial center in Shanghai.
