Seven prominent artists from China's Painting Research Institute have joined forces for an exhibition, which kicked off at the Art Gallery of the Beijing Art Academy on Tuesday.

Seven prominent artists from China's Painting Research Institute have joined forces for an exhibition, which kicked off at the Art Gallery of the Beijing Art Academy on Tuesday.

The seven artists are Chen Keyong, Wang Menghu, Li Chunhai, Cheng Zhenguo, Shi Enzhao, Yu Yongmao and Duan Tiejin. Their works are all mounted on large frames and were produced in recent years. They have been showcased at a number of sports venues such as the Bird's Nest, and some foreign embassies in Beijing.

All of them draw on inspiration from the Mother Nature, yet each and every one of them is distinguished by their disparate individual style.
