A grand cinema event to mark the 10th anniversary of the Hong Kong's return to the motherland. Monday, at the Hall of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Hong Kong movie makers and their mainland peers joined together to walk the red carpet.

More than one hundred artists from Hong Kong and the mainland paraded down the red carpet Monday night. Hong Kong's Tony Leung, was there, so were Alan Tam, Leon Lai; up-and-coming actors Daniel Chan and Fiona Sit. There were mainland artists: senior actors Ge Cunzhuang, Tian Hua, and stars of the younger generation like Chen Kun, Zhou Xun and Zhang Ziyi, who stole the limelight with her carefully chosen attire.
