Twenty six winners have been unveiled at the 26th Hong Kong Film Awards, and the movie "After This Our Exile," is this year's biggest winner.
The film which painstakingly tells the story of a hot-tempered cook's downfall, clinched 5 awards in categories for best movie, best screenwriter, best supporting actor, best new performer and for Patrick Tam as best director.
Lau Ching-wan won best actor for "My Name Is Fame" at Sunday night's ceremony, beating Hollywood heavyweights like Jet Li.
Gong Li was named best actress for playing an empress who helps stage a coup in the imperial epic "Curse of the Golden Flower", directed by well-known Chinese director, Zhang Yimou. The film also won the title for best original soundtrack, which was written by Jay Chou.
