This year marks the 30th anniversary for multilateral and bilateral development assistance cooperation in China.

The Commerce Ministry said multilateral and bilateral development assistance cooperation has been an important part of China's foreign economic cooperation over the past three decades.

Commerce Minister Chen Deming said that during that time, foreign assistance has played a tremendous role in China's economic and social development.
