The WHO Representative Office in China says the increase in government investment will provide a solid foundation for reform. The WHO hopes that the Chinese government will continue to involve key stakeholders as the plan develops further. But it also points out that the cooperation of relevant departments and local governments are the key to the reform. Meanwhile, the World Bank says rural health, public health, and community health should be a priority. It also stresses the importance of China choosing a reform path suitable for its own conditions, while learning from other countries.
