Wang Shizhong left his hometown in Henan and has been working in Beijing for about ten years. The 52-year old building worker fell from a three-meter high scaffold several days ago, breaking his rib and possibly causing injury to his spleen. But what worries Wang now are the medical costs.

Migrant worker Wang Shizhong said, "The best result would be if the company pays part of the costs. My boss can pay part of the expenses, and I myself can also pay some. It's unfair for me to pay all of it. I also consulted the New Rural Cooperative Medical Care office in my hometown. But they say this insurance doesn't cover the injury caused by accidents. "
