DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS:

China established diplomatic relations with Switzerland on September 14th 1950, exchanging ministerial level counsels.

Switzerland was one of the first western countries to recognize and establish diplomatic ties with China.

During recent years, high level mutual visits have become frequent with cooperation in all field.
