China improves ticket selling to prepare for travel rush

In south China's Guangdong province, the Guangdong Railway Group has improved its telephone ticket selling system. In the past, travellers could only purchase tickets at the same location they were reserved. But this year, the tickets can be purchased anywhere in the Pearl River Delta Area.

All around the country, more than 4,000 transportation security service stations have been set up on highways, national highways and provincial borders.
In Guangdong province, the local police has started the IC Card information management for passenger vehicles. Passenger overloading and vehicles without licenses are the focus of the investigation.
