The Shenzhou-7 space team has been warmly welcomed by Hong Kong residents during a variety show at the Hong Kong Stadium.

The Shenzhou-7 space team has been warmly  welcomed by Hong Kong residents during a variety  show at the Hong Kong Stadium.

The stadium, which holds 40,000 people, was the perfect venue for the public to join the grand party with their space heroes. Led by Hong Kong's Silver and Pipe Band, the astronauts circled the venue in an open car. The astronauts then performed with Hong Kong entertainers.

The Shenzhou-7 space team will leave for Macao Monday morning.
