The Shenzhou-7 re-entry capsule and its decelerating parachute will be part of the week-long exhibition. Although the orbital and propellant modules of the craft were left in outer space, models will be available at the exhibition. Officials said one of the highlights is the extra-vehicular camera.

Zhou Xudong, Dep. Chief System Designer og Manned Space Project, said, "We watched Chinese astronaut's first ever spacewalk through this camera. That was really exciting."
Apart from the glory of Shenzhou-7, visitors can also check out other items showcasing the country's space exploration program. These involve 7 carrier rockets, including the Long March-5 that will be launched in future missions. Models of Chang'e-1 lunar orbiting spacecraft and the future moon rover will also be on hand. Visitors can pick up tickets to the exhibit for free from the city's thousands of newspaper stands.
