Somali pirates have hijacked a Saudi-owned oil supertanker off the Kenyan coast.
According to the US Navy, the ship is loaded with crude oil and is carrying 25 crew members.

It is the largest ship pirates have seized to date, and the farthest out to sea they have successfully struck.
Saturday's hijacking occurred in the Indian Ocean, far south of the zone patrolled by international warships in the Gulf of Aden shipping channel, which leads to and from the Suez Canal.
The tanker is owned by Saudi oil company Aramco.
