China accepts more int´l quake rescue offers

The Chinese government has also accepted offers from Russia, South Korea and Singapore to send rescue professionals to earthquake-struck Sichuan Province in southwestern China.

Japanese rescue professionals arrive in quake-hit SW China

Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang made the announcement early on Friday morning. He says the Chinese government accepted these offers, taking into consideration their proximity to China, which can ensure promptness of aid.
