Heavy snowfall has blocked Georgia's main northern highway. No injuries have been reported.

The snow has brought traffic to a halt on a ten-kilometer strip in the Kazbegi and Dusheti districts.
Authorities say the snow is 2 meters deep in parts.
They are trying to clear the highway and expect it to re-open on Wednesday.
Hundreds of Georgian tourists and a small group of foreigners have been stranded at the mountain ski resort of Gudauri.
