Commonwealth nations, mostly former British colonies, threatened Pakistan with suspension on Monday if President Pervez Musharraf did not repeal emergency laws and take other steps by November 22nd.
Michael Frendo, Chairman, Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group, said, "We would like very much President Musharraf to listen to the voice which will come out of the Commonwealth after this meeting. It is not meant to be a message of aggression, it's a message of a friend. We are, within the Commonwealth, members of the Commonwealth, and one is among a family of friends."
