US experts to start disabling DPRK´s nuclear facilities

Envoys in the six-party talks are in Beijing now for consultations on the disabling the Democratic people's Republic of Korea's nuclear programme.

The top envoy from the United States, Christopher Hill, will meet his DPRK counterpart, Kim Kye Gwan today in the Chinese capital. Hill says he and Chinese officials will plan for a ministerial meeting by the end of this year, when the DPRK is scheduled to give up its nuclear ambitions.

He says a team of experts will go to the DPRK on Thursday to start the process of disabling the country's nuclear programme. This would be the second visit this month to the DPRK for US nuclear experts.
