Iran will hold a fresh round of talks with nuclear experts from the United Nations. Their meeting will be held within the framework of an action plan agreed upon by Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency in August.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini says talks with a delegation from the IAEA will be held in Tehran on Tuesday.
Issues related to P1 and P2 centrifuges, which are used for uranium enrichment, will be among the topics discussed.
An Iranian team and the IAEA held a two-day meeting in September to answer outstanding questions over centrifuges Iran uses to enrich uranium.
Compared with P1, P2 centrifuges are more advanced and could produce more enriched uranium, which can be used as nuclear fuel or key material for atomic weapons at the same time.
Hosseini's remarks came just two days after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reiterated his country would not give up its nuclear rights and would not negotiate with world powers over the rights.
Meanwhile, Iran welcomed a call by US President George W. Bush for talks between Washington and Tehran.
Mohammad Ali Hosseini said, "US President Bush's recent comments were more clear than previous times but still there were no new positions, and we have heard them from other American officials in the past. He once more repeated the issue of negotiation with Iran with the pre-condition of uranium enrichment suspension and Iran has already responded to this several times."
The US and other western nations have constantly accused Tehran of developing a nuclear weapon program, but Iran has insisted it would not give up its nuclear programme as a condition for sitting down with the United States for talks.
