Special Report: Doha 2006At the Doha 2006 Asian Games, China ruled the day in Tuesday's competitions, grabbing 22 gold medals, 11 silver medals and 2 bronze medals. 7 golds were for shooting, 3 for swimming, 2 each for badminton, road-cycling and judo, and one each for cue sports and weightlifting.

So far, China has bagged 60 gold medals, 31 silver medals, and 13 bronze medals. Japan, with 17 gold medals, and South Korea with 13, follow in 2nd and 3rd.

China won 7 golds in the shooting competition ( Video ). They won the team title in the men's 50m pistol event and Xu Kun took gold in the men's 50m pistol individual event.

Meanwhile, Zou Kai dominated the floor exercise on Tuesday with a flawless routine to win gold. The 18-year-old came to the final as top qualifier to present a set of twisting acrobatics. Zou Kai scored 16 points to lead the event all the way through. His teammate, Liang Fuliang finished second, just 0.2 points behind.
