The South Korean Foreign Minister and his US and Japanese counterparts are calling for Pyongyang's early return to the Six-Party talks. This comes after Ban Ki-moon, Condoleezza Rice and Taro Aso met in Seoul for two hours of discussions.
Once again, the three sides stated that the nuclear test by the DPRK is a grave threat to the Korean Peninsula, East Asia, and the entire world.
The top diplomats confirmed their countries will take unified measures against Pyongyang in terms of UN Security Council Resolution 1718.
They also agreed to leave the door open for negotiations, in a bid to resolve the nuclear issue through a peaceful and diplomatic way.
Rice dispelled reports that participation in mobilizing countries to monitor DPRK cargo was a blockade.
