Special Report: Toyota Worldwide Recall |

As Toyota recalls millions of cars with accelerator and brake system problems, China's quality watchdog has issued a warning about the risks of some of its models.

The notice mentions a number of Toyota's models that are involved in the recall, including the Camry, Corolla, Highlander, RAV4, Prius and Lexus. Toyota Motors' China operation says all the models sold in China are free of accelerator or brake problems, except the RAV4. But there may be drivers in China using models made overseas.

The watchdog is urging people driving overseas-made models to contact Toyota's authorized service centers or the local customs office. The watchdog is still collecting information before deciding its next move.
