Special Report: Strong Quake Hits Haiti |

Life is slowly regaining elements of the way it used to be for residents of makeshift camps throughout the devastated Haitian capital. But challenges will remain for a while to come.

Difficulties are still present in getting international aid to the thousands of people that are living in tent cities across Port-au-Prince.

Adequate aid is arriving in the country but poor transport, corruption and bureaucracy are hampering its distribution. Returning children to class is still an elusive goal as many schools were either damaged or destroyed by the earthquake.

An Venemen, Executive Director of UNICEF, said, "I think there is a bit of normalcy coming back to the communities but it is still difficult to get aid out. It's going to be difficult to get children back in school, having the right school buildings, because so many schools like the one we just saw here collapsed."
