Special Report: Obama's New Afghan Strategy |

As Barack Obama prepares to reveal his new strategy to put thousands more US troops in Afghanistan, residents in Kabul have expressed a wide range of opinions.

Ahmad Wali, Kabul Resident, said, "If the new strategy will be for the benefit of Afghanistan, I will be happy. My opinion is that they should have a good strategy. If so, people will be happy from their positive opinions and support."

Nazir Ahmad, Kabul Resident, said, "Increasing foreign troops in Afghanistan will not change anything. It will remain the same as usual. It would be better to strengthen the Afghan people, the National Army and the police because every country is rebuilt by its own people."
