Obama calls on NATO allies to send more troops to Afghanistan

WASHINGTON, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Barack Obama is to call on NATO allies to send more troops to Afghanistan, when he addresses the nation Tuesday night, announcing his order to deploy 30,000 more U.S. soldiers to that country.
