Property prices in 70 major cities accelerated for an eleventh straight month in February, rising 10.7 percent year on year. That marks the fastest pace in nearly two years. Haikou, the capital city of Hainan province, witnessed the largest rise, logging around 58 percent. Meanwhile, property transactions also went up in the first two months mainly thanks to the surge in sales of residential housing.
