Echoing Premier Li Keqiang's words, Chinese Commerce Minister Zhong Shan told reporters on Friday that foreign trade has been developing rapidly and has made a huge contribution to China's economic development.

"Foreign trade is one of the most important elements of the Chinese economy, and something that we will continue to focus on in future. We must ensure that the development of foreign trade matches the current circumstances. It will be important to adjust the focus from the expansion of quantity to the improvement of quality," Zhong said.
