Chinese government says the country will increase the amount of available nuclear power through 2020.

China's energy regulator says the sector will have 58 million kilowatts of installed nuclear power by 2020.  China's intelligent nuclear power and maritime nuclear power platforms will be in focus. Officials say that will be important for the development of China's oceanic oil and gas assets.

The new plants will use robots and artificial intelligence to help manage high-risk activities, such as radiation examinations, and pipe maintenance.
