Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has vowed to continue his controversial anti-drug campaign. And now his allies in Congress are taking it a step further, proposing that children as young as nine be jailed as well.

According to police records, since Duterte took office on June 30th, there have been over 6 thousand killings linked to his war on drugs. While more than 40 thousand have been arrested and some 800 thousand have surrendered themselves to police.
