President Park Geun-hye is considering the call from the ruling Saenuri Party to resign in April. This is according to a party official who was speaking to reporters after a meeting.

The effort to impeach her has been gaining support from within her own party .According to the Saenuri floor leader, President Park said she would accept the result of an impeachment vote against her this week.
