The Chinese Yuan weakens today as the middle point of the currency hit a record low at 6.9085 per dollar, its weakest level since June 2008.
The offshore Yuan also extends losses and fell past 6.96 level for the first time since it started trading overseas in late 2010.
The stronger dollar and signs of accelerating capital outflows from the Asian state in the wake of Trump’s U.S. election win continue to weigh on the currency.
