Cavusoglu said frequent high-level exchanges in recent years and close consultations at all levels are helping promote the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The two ministers agreed to continue to dovetail China’s Belt and Road Initiative and Turkey’s Middle Corridor Initiative, and jointly push forward the high-speed rail project. They also agreed on closer cooperation in security and counter-terrorism.
The two sides will continue to support each other's efforts to maintain national sovereignty, security and stability. This years marks the 45th year since China and Turkey established diplomatic relations.
Wang said China will work with Turkey to seek further trust and a brighter future for bilateral relations.
