Later today, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will attend a meeting with representatives from 16 Central and Eastern European countries in the Latvian capital, Riga.

Latvian Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis told CCTV the summit would focus on the implementation of China's Belt and Road projects. Before the summit, Li said China has been encouraging Chinese firms to invest and participate in infrastructure construction in the region.
