On Friday morning, Premier Li wrapped up his trip to Kazakhstan after a meeting with Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev.

Later, Li left to continue his tour in the Baltic country Latvia, where he will attend the fifth annual China-Central and Eastern European summit.

Last year it was held in Suzhou, and this year, in the Latvian capital Riga.

2016 also marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Latvia. Li's visit is expected to elevate ties between the two countries and to further promote China-CEE cooperation.
