The Ministry of Commerce published China's outward project contracting data on Wednesday.

Spokesman Shen Danyang says China's Belt and Road Initiative's contracted projects rapidly developed in the first three quarters of this year, with more than 4,000 new foreign project contracts and nearly 74.6 billion US dollars in contract value.

The Belt and Road Initiative's contract value has grown 26.1 percent year on year, which accounts for 50.4 percent of China's total foreign project contract value.
