Senior officials from China and the United States are holding an inter-sessional meeting on strategic security issues. According to China's Foreign Ministry, the meeting of the China-US Strategic Security Dialogue on Saturday is co-chaired by Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui and US Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

On the agenda are China-US relations and mutual security concerns, including the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's nuclear program.
