Belgium's foreign ministry has summoned the Russian ambassador after Moscow claimed Belgian jets from the US-led coalition killed six civilians in airstrikes near the Syrian city of Aleppo.
The Russian defence ministry said the killing occured in the village of Hassajik early on Tuesday. It said two Belgium's F-16s were identified at that time. It added there were no Russian and Syrian aircrafts. However, the Belgian defence ministry denied the country's air force was active in the area at the time.
