The Chinese Football Association has started the process to select a new head coach for the men's national team. Following Tuesday's 2-0 loss at Uzbekistan, China have just one point after four rounds of 2018 World Cup Qualifying, which led to Gao Hongbo resigning. There are reports that Luiz Felipe Scolari is a candidate for the job, but the Guangzhou Evergrande boss insists his focus is on his CSL club.
"For now my mind is on Evergrande. We still have two titles to fight for before the end of the year. After all I'm a professional coach, and I have to fulfill my contract, which goes until November 30th," Luiz Felipe said.
