Chinese President Xi Jinping is set to pay official visits to Cambodia and Bangladesh from Thursday to Saturday. The trip is a bid to push forward cooperation within the framework of China's Belt and Road initiative.

The visits also reaffirm China's commitment to neighborhood diplomacy, sincerity and inclusiveness. President Xi has also published a signed article in Cambodia's largest daily newspaper, Rasmei Kampuchea, saying that the two countries enjoy a solid bilateral relationship amid a changing international environment.

Xi also said both countries stand at a key moment for development, and that their comprehensive strategic partnership should be further improved in all areas.
